Jackass 3D
by Gary Barnidge on October 16th, 2010
This is not your typical movie and cant be reviewed in any typical way. This movie isn’t for everyone because of the nature of the film.
The Starting Lineup – Johnny Knoxville, Bam Margera, Steve-O, Spike Jonze, Chris Pontius, Jason “Wee-Man” Acuna, Ryan Dunn, Preston Lacy, Dave England, Ehren McGhehey, and Jeff Tremaine (director)
The Gameplan – The Whole Jackass crew is back for some more crazy and wild antics and stunts that should never be tried at home.
Touchdowns – Where to start, I could just say the whole movie is a touchdown. They have all new stunts that are just as crazy and some are even more sick and scary then previous stunts. The way they show the 3D in the film is pretty engaging and sometimes will make you want to take off your glasses but thats your typical Jackass. The 3D has Bubbles, Paintballs, and bouncy balls coming at you as well as many other things but I will let you enjoy that yourself. The way they use slow motion in the film to show the movements of the face and body when hit by things is amazing because you truly see the skin and muscles moving like never before.
Penalties – This movie was Penalty free
Coaching Performance – As in all the other Jackass movies Jeff Tremaine is back directing as well as participating in some of the stunts. The way he incorporated the 3D aspect into the film was pretty entertaining. His slow motion scenes were very eye catching and you may catch yourself cringing in slow motion in the theater.
The Game Winner – For everyone who loved Jackass you will will enjoy all the new stunts they create and it will make you ask yourself where do they come up with this stuff. For the people who have never seen Jackass, this movie is a very harsh movie that will make you laugh at other peoples pain in which the guys enjoy.
Game Summary – This is not your typical movie because it is really just a hour and a half show that will make you laugh and cringe and even possibly make you throw up so be warned. For me this was very funny and entertaining and I just loved the movie. Also be on the look out for some guest appearances from Actors, to NFL players, to BMX and Skateboard celebrities. The intro into the film from some other famous MTV characters was out of nowhere but pretty funny.
